What is log book service

In many countries around the world and some states in Australia, the emissions of Nitrogen Oxide from diesel and gasoline vehicles are restricted by legislation. A widely adopted route to reduce NOx emissions is Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (or EGR). This involves recirculating a proportion of the engine's exhaust back into the air intake system of your vehicle. Recycled exhaust contains a lot of carbon which causes blockages inside the engine. Direct fuel injection, common rail diesel engines with DPF (diesel particulate filter) are particularly susceptible to this occurrence. The result of this is poor fuel economy, excessive black smoke, reduction in exhaust emissions and performance.
